ABOUT THE CLASSES
Christ Centered Birthing
We believe that a woman’s body is designed to give birth and we long to help women to trust their God-given ability to give birth and embrace the spiritual and sacred aspects of childbearing. Having a baby is unlike anything you have ever done before in your life. Why leave your faith at the door when learning about this milestone event? Our classes provide a small Christian community to facilitate your preparations for your new baby. You will learn to make informed decisions regarding your prenatal care, birth and parenting.

* 5-Week Childbirth Preparation Class
* 2-Day Childbirth Preparation Class (to be offered based on interest level)
* 1-Day Refresher Class (to be offered based on interest level)
* Coming Spring 2010: Weekend Retreat Birthing Class

There is a discount available on doula services for any class participant.

ABOUT THE TEACHERS
Stephanie Nobles has been trained as a childbirth instructor by ICEA (International Childbirth Education Association) and Birthing From Within. She has taught classes and been attending births as a DONA (Doulas of North America) certified doula for six years having attended over 65 births. Stephanie is from Puyallup, Washington and is a loving wife to her husband, a stay-at-home mom and homeschool teacher of her two children.

Terri Young has been a DONA (Doulas of North America) trained doula for eight years. She has attended over 100 births as either a doula or midwives’ assistant. A student midwife herself, Terri’s primary role is encouraging wife and mother. Her son was born in the hospital nine years ago, and her daughter born at home with a midwife where dad caught her. Their families are from Colorado where Terri lived most of her life until their big move to Spokane three and a half years ago.
