When I moved to Spokane in 2008—and almost immediately found out I was pregnant with my second child—I wished there was a single website that contained comprehensive information about local natural childbirth resources available in and around Spokane. I spent days trolling the web looking for midwives, doulas and reviews of local hospitals. I found a few sites with relevant information, but I knew that there had to be many more resources that should be represented online and a simple way to find general information about natural birth options available here in the inland northwest. Now I’ve made this information available all in one place here at Bloom where the goal is to increase the number of safe and positive births by providing information about natural birth options.
