Welcome your baby with confidence! Spokane Birth Support offers complete childbirth preparation classes focusing on birth as a natural process of the body. We teach practiced relaxation during pregnancy to achieve a calm and comfortable birth. Learn the skills to be fully aware and peaceful when you welcome your baby. Xylina is a HypnoBirthing practitioner teaching the original Mongan Method. HypnoBirthing mothers have a cesarean section rate of 17%, as opposed to the national rate of nearly 33%. Many Spokane mothers have had extraordinary births using the techniques of HypnoBirthing. If you have questions don’t hesitate to contact us. Read more about this class and register on our website.

About Xylina

xylinaI am happy to provide service to families in the Inland Northwest. I am a member of DONA and DONA trained as both a Birth and Postpartum Doula providing service throughout pregnancy, childbirth and into postpartum. I am completing my certification through DONA. I am a Certified Lactation Educator specializing in breastfeeding education and postpartum breastfeeding support.

I am always learning more about my passion; babies and their families. I am trained in CPR and infant CPR. I have been a volunteer at Providence Sacred Heart Hospital since January of 2009 as the Mother-Baby Time Breastfeeding Support Group volunteer. I have a full background check available and excellent references.

I believe each family has their own path to parenthood. My role is to be an educated, reliable source of information to you during pregnancy, labor and postpartum. I provide information tailored to your needs and wants. I provide encouragement and support to help you make decisions based on thoughtfulness and your love and connection to your little one.

I hope to help you have the best transition into parenthood. I want your family to enjoy getting to know each other in this short newborn stage. I want you to have the resources you need so the stresses of this life-changing event have little impact on your new relationship with your baby. I want you to have the confidence and information you need to build a rewarding lifelong relationship.
